2015 Ford F 150 Wins Over a Dozen Awards, Ford Briefs Investors on Sales Outlook, And More

The 2015 Ford F 150 has been winning a pile of awards recently. This makes sense too, as the truck is Ford’s biggest money maker in North America. So far, the 2015 Ford F 150 has won over a dozen awards from various publications. Many people were wondering about the new aluminum body that Ford is using in the truck, though.

They were worried that the aluminum body would reduce the safety of the truck. However, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the truck a five-star overall vehicle safety award, which is the highest award they give. Doug Scott, Ford’s truck group marketing manager said that he doesn’t have much else to say, because the results speak for themselves. However, despite the success of the 2015 Ford F 150, Ford has been cautioning investors that they won’t see the performance realized until the latter half of this year. The reasoning behind this is that Ford typically sees the bulk of its profits in the first half of the year.

However, because of the release of the 2015 Ford F 150 (which was released early in the year), profits won’t be realized until the second half of the year. The new truck as well as Ford’s growth overseas is setting the company up to have a few stronger years in the future. The 2015 Ford F 150 FX4 is the top level trim for the truck. It still has all of the power that you would expect from a Ford F 150. The main difference is in the interior of the truck.

It has more in common with a luxury vehicle than a truck. The 2015 Ford F 150 FX4 still has 12,200 pounds of towing power and can haul up to 3,300 pounds. The new aluminum frame helps the 2015 Ford F 150 to weigh 700 pounds less as well. The NHTSA also released findings on the SuperCab (or extended cab) models of the 2015 Ford F 150.

While the SuperCab’s still received five-star safety ratings, they only received four-star ratings for rollover safety. However, all models of the 2015 Ford F 150 are better in frontal-crash tests when compared to last year’s model of the Ford F150. Any way you look at it, it appears that Ford has another hit on their hands with the 2015 Ford F 150.
