Outlaw Cowboy Erron Black To Be Announced For Mortal Kombat X? April Release Date On PlayStation and Xbox!

A comic book that is being released to hype the upcoming Mortal Kombat X video game might have confirmed the inclusion of another new character that has yet to be formally announced.

Erron Black, who may as well be known as Clint Eastwood, is a no nonsense cowboy, with a hat, gun and poncho to boot. Images from the pages of issue #4 of the series shows him alongside other new characters of the fighting game franchise, including D’vorah, who is like an insect God who can summon bees to do her bidding, and Kotal Khan, an Aztec style God who rules the Outworld.

The strip tells the story of how Khan calls on Erron Black to fight franchise regular Mileena, who has also not yet been officially confirmed for the game.

The trio of Black, D’vorah and Khan are fighting a civil war in the Outworld against Mileena, which the likes of Sonya Blade refuse to be involved in. She and D’vorah end up battling, until Raiden prevents any serious damage.

Developer NetherRealm Studios have confirmed many of the characters that will be playable in Mortal Kombat X, but there is still expected to be more to follow, with announcements as soon as the end of the month. Erron Black is an obvious possibility, but so far nothing has been confirmed. He wouldn’t be the first gunslinger in the franchise. Remember Kurtis Stryker who debuted in Mortal Kombat 3? A special riot control police officer, Stryker was known for his weapons but was not an outlaw like Black.

Mortal Kombat X News

The developer confirmed last week that they will not be making a demo of the game available, meaning we’ll have to wait until it’s released on April 14th, before most of us can get a hands on experience with it. There are already lots of videos however showing off the gameplay and the 3 variations that each character comes with.

The tenth main instalment of Mortal Kombat will be available across platforms, including the PlayStation 4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. There will also be four retail collector’s editions of the game.
