Sergio Ramos Rehabs Injury With Trampoline Hilarity, No Sign That He’s Leaving Madrid!
Who said recovering from a injury couldn’t be fun? Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos revealed in a recent video that being sidelined with a torn hamstring at Los Blancos simply means you get to bounce around on trampolines and crash mats.
The clip which has been shared online shows the Spanish international star bouncing on a one man trampoline and then running backwards up a padded wall and back down again. We don’t know the medical reason behind the process, but we assume it’s a way to strengthen the muscles in his leg, so he can get back on the pitch. It looks really fun though!
The 28 year old seems to be recovering well as he also included a nice 360 twist in one of his bounces before laughing at the camera.
Ramos sustained the injury during Real Madrid’s 2-1 win against Sevilla FC, earlier this month. At the time he was expected to need about 6 weeks off to heal and rehab the injury.
He says that he’s focussed and he can accomplish the impossible if he puts his mind to it.
Meanwhile there continues to be hope – at least from other teams – that his delay in signing a new contract with Madrid is an indicator that he may be open to outside talks. However everything he’s said publicly about the matter suggests he has all intentions to stay with the La Liga leaders. He has explained that he still has plenty of time to come to new terms and there’s no need for him to hurry.
And who can really blame him? As one of their star players for the past decade he is well within his rights to try and get the best financial deal possible for himself. He is still considered an integral part of the team, and as one of the best clubs in the world there’s no incentive for him to jump ship. He is also one of the most well liked and respected players in the locker room.
