Account Manager Stole Almost $40G from Clients
Lisa Marie Hillerich, a fiduciary manager from Kentucky, was arrested two days before Christmas for stealing money from her elderly clients
Louisville Metro Police arrested the 31 year old woman on Sunday for stealing about $38,000 between the months of July and October from her clients. She was charged with three counts of theft by deception, and six counts of knowingly exploiting an adult.
Police have evidence she stole $1,000 in July and $1,131 in October from an elderly client in order to pay rent for a dance studio she owns. Then she stole $15,000 from another client’s account in October, two months after the victim had died.
Later she was questioned about the dead client’s missing funds she then stole another $15,000 from a third victim in order to cover the missing funds of the second victim. Finally, she stole $5,700 from a fourth victim in late October.
Hillerich was captured on video surveillance from the bank while making the transactions. According to the warrants she had to also present identification in order to withdraw funds.
Presently, she is being detained at the Louisville Metro Corrections facility on a $10,000 bond, and is scheduled to appear in court on January 3rd.
